From I was about 12 years old and ten years forward my hearing was stable but in the recent years it had started to get worse again.<\/p>\n<p>I had therefore started to notice a long range of social situations in which I felt that it had become more difficult to hear. I met a couple of Cochlear Implant (CI) users at a camp for young people with hearing losses and that made me interested in finding out if CI could be a solution for me.<\/p>\n<p>This blog is a presentation of all of my CI journey since I in August 2012 started to investigate if CI could be a solution for me.<\/p>\n<p>The result of this journey is that I had a CI surgery in both of my ears on February 28 and that I received sound on April 8.
